How-to-do-it canoeing course
First we learn the basic elements associated with canoeing safely on land, then in the canoe on the water, and once we have more or less mastered the art, we do a small canoeing trip. Within a short period of about 3 hours we will learn the basic skills of canoeing, this putting us in a nice position to start the hobby.
The course fee of 35 € per person includes all canoeing equipment and instruction.
A minimum of 4 persons.

Fit the whole family in a Canadian canoe
We have all been introduced to Canadian canoeing through the comic strip character of Little-Hiawatha. This traditional form of water transport is admirably suited to both adults and children. The beginner-friendly destination for our adventure is a bay situated close by, with an Indian snack to be enjoyed when we land.
The whole trip lasts about 2½ hours. Cost 40 €/crew, or 1-2 adults and 1-2 children.
A minimum of 2 canoes.

The water-way to stone sculpturing
Let's just jump into our Canadian canoes or kayaks and turn the bows of the canoe towards the summer cottage of artist Juhani Saksa in Vaimosniemi. We shall have a look at the works situated in the garden, as well as the exhibition with some works of stone for sale by this artist, well-known also in international spheres. The total length of the return trip is some 8 kms, lasting about 4 hours.
The cost of 42 € /person includes hire of equipment, the guide, entrance to the exhibition, coffee and cake.
A minimum of 4 persons.

The Puula archipelago at its most beautiful
The natural beauty of the central section of the Lake Puulavesi archipelago reflects Finnish nature at its best all through the summer. Canoeing is the best way of getting to know Finnish flora and fauna. We start our trip on the water at the Tähtiniemi excursion harbour. During the day, we shall accommodate the days trip to the wishes of the group serving a traditional picnic lunch and a cup of coffee by the campfire on one of the hundreds of islands.
The trip lasts 8 hours. The cost of 80 €/person includes hire of equipment, lunch, coffee, transport and the guide.
A minimum of 4 persons.

Peculiar raukki rock formations and the gentle heat of the smoke sauna!
We start our trip from Cape Simpiä, in the very centre of Lake Puula, paddling to the most beautiful works of art fashioned by the water, not to mention the most famous raukki, a sacrificial stone. We spend our mid-day siesta heating the smoke sauna on the island, making lunch and enjoying it all. After the sauna and the swim, we paddle back to where we started from.
The distance paddled is 7-15 kms, depending on the wishes of the group and their previous experience, the time taken being some 7 hours.
The cost of 96 €/person includes transport, hire of equipment, lunch, a smoke sauna and the guide.
A minimum of 4 persons.

Staying overnight on the lake
During two days on Lake Puulavesi, you get double the enjoyment of a one-day trip, with the lake and the archipelago at night into the bargain. In the morning, we shall be revising the safety measures of canoeing, getting to know our kayaks and packing our gear. The trip will take us to the southern portion of the archipelago. A place for overnighting is to be found on an islet of exposed bedrock, caressed by the evening sun until the moment it sinks beneath the horizon. Returning home, we will, of course, choose another route.
The trip lasts about 24 Hours. The cost of 131 € /person includes the kayak and hire of all necessary equipment, transport, picnic lunches and the guide.
A minimum of 4 persons.
